An all-terrain trail shoe isn't usually the first thing that comes to mind when you think "good-looking." But Vans' Crosspath XC GORE-TEX is out to prove that function and style don't have to be mutually exclusive.
This shoe's foundation is already solid: the GORE-TEX upper acts like an umbrella for your feet, keeping out sudden downpours, while the outsole is handled by Vibram, complete with a yellow branded tab, delivering the traction needed to handle gravel paths and all kinds of rugged terrain. These specs alone explain why it's classified as an outdoor-oriented design.
This time around, the spotlight is on the brand-new "Black" colorway. Unlike your typical all-black outdoor shoe that can feel a bit flat, this version mixes in grey and silver details, adding a touch of reflective brightness to the dark base. Even out on the trails, it still manages to carry a low-key sense of presence.
The Vans Crosspath XC GORE-TEX in "Black" is now available on Vans' official website, priced at $180.
