When Travis Scott showed up to the premiere of The Odyssey rocking this shoe, it didn't even have a name yet — and Nike wasn't talking. On July 31st, he finally dropped the reveal alongside a full Cactus Jack x The Odyssey collection — tees, bags, priced between $55 and $75, all things the general public can actually cop. The shoe, however, is nowhere on that list.
Nike's official line is that it was "exclusively gifted" to the star-studded cast and crew of Christopher Nolan's film. In other words, if you weren't on set, this shoe isn't for you — and even when it eventually surfaces on the resale market, don't expect friendly prices.
The design itself nails that "exclusive" energy. Built on Nike's oldest silhouette, the Moon Shoe, this collab features distressed black leather uppers mixed with a fuzzy suede texture, with the Swoosh flipped into a burgundy furry patch — giving it the look of something excavated from an ancient Greek archaeological dig, which tracks with the film's epic tone.
Travis Scott also designed a second shoe: a furry burgundy ACG Moc featuring a gold "spine" detail running down the shoe, inspired by the armor worn by characters in the film. This one is also an exclusive crew gift, and also won't be released to the public.
For now, only the tees and bag accessories are confirmed for retail. Whether either Moon Shoe silhouette gets a wider release down the line — or eventually surfaces through auctions or other gifting channels — remains unclear, with no further word from Nike.
