If Air Force 1 could ever be broken off like a piece of chocolate, this would be the color. Nike's latest Air Force 1 comes dressed head-to-toe in a deep, monochromatic brown, with buttery leather uppers finished off by metallic gold Swooshes and branding. The tone alone is enough to conjure up images of Willy Wonka's factory and those gold-foil-wrapped chocolate bars. Nike's calling this one "Mystic Dates."

Let's get one thing straight first: this isn't an official collaboration between Nike and the Willy Wonka Candy Company — the colorway just happens to hit the same notes. Nike has done the real deal before, crafting an ultra-limited Dunk for Timothée Chalamet tied to the Wonka movie, given away to lucky fans through an online raffle with a rarity level that put it out of reach for most people.

"Mystic Dates" Air Force 1 takes a completely different approach: accessible and easy to cop. The shoe has already landed on select overseas Nike websites, retailing for around $105, with a black-and-white colorway also available in the same lineup — no raffle required.

This isn't the first time Nike's dipped into food-inspired colorways, either. Sweet, brown-toned Air Max 90s and cocoa-dessert-looking Air Max Phenomena loafers belong to the same crew. "Mystic Dates" carries on that tradition of making shoes look good enough to eat, this time landing on the most iconic canvas of all — the Air Force 1.

No word yet on whether this will drop in Taiwan or an exact release date. Anyone interested should keep an eye on Nike's official channels for updates.
