This time, the focus isn't on colorways — it's the upper. The all-new "KingKnit" material sits at the core of the shoe, with two different knit constructions pieced together across the lateral side. According to Nike, this makes the LeBron 24 the lightest shoe in his entire signature line. A carbon fiber plate has been added to the midfoot for support, while the outsole has been noticeably shaved down compared to previous generations — a clear departure from the chunkier design language LeBron's line has leaned into in recent years. This is very much a subtraction move. The silhouette itself still echoes the structure of the LeBron 23, so it's less of a full reset and more of a transfusion within the same frame.
The debut colorway is dubbed "Shooting Star," done up in a blue tone officially named Polarized Blue/Multi-Color-Black-Racer Blue-Blue Glow — currently the only version with confirmed details. Also revealed at the launch event were metallic silver, yellow, and pink versions, plus a multicolor edition tied to Lunar New Year, though those have only made a brief appearance with no further info released. Nike says full cushioning and performance specs will be shared closer to release.
