Tucked into the corner of a blue fabric planner cover is a tiny orange charm — easy to miss, but one of the most carefully considered details in Hobonichi Techo's latest collaboration with the beloved character "Puppet Sunsun."
The collab spans 7 items in total, including planner covers, the weekly "Hobonichi Weeks" planner, and various stationery pieces. Everything launches September 1st at the brand's flagship store TOBICHI, LOFT locations nationwide, the official Hobonichi Techo online store, as well as Amazon and Rakuten.

The A6-sized planner cover comes in a blue base featuring Sunsun paired with the "PUPPET SUNSUN" logo, finished with a white piped trim along the edges. An orange charm dangles from the tip of the bookmark ribbon, making this the standout piece in the collection with its bold color contrast. The "Hobonichi Weeks" planner takes a different approach, blowing up the image of Sunsun peeking out from a banana to fill the entire cover, finished in a matte texture for a more understated feel.
The rest of the lineup includes desk pads in three sizes — Original, Cousin, and Weeks — plus "Deco Rush" tape that can be peeled and stuck directly onto planner pages for decoration, sticky notes in 5 different colors, and a full set of date stickers covering 31 days, rounding out everything needed for daily writing and planner customization.
