At first glance, there's not much to talk about here — the classic Camp Moccasin silhouette, calf suede upper with a subtle matte finish, both beige and black colorways sticking to traditional territory, like something that's been sitting on an old-school outdoor brand's shelf for a decade. But that's exactly the point of this South2 West8 x SUICOKE collab: keep the exterior understated while packing all the function into places you can't see.

Hokkaido-based South2 West8 links up with SUICOKE once again, this time delivering an eVent version of the Camp Moccasin. The upper stays true to the boat shoe's classic visual language, but the interior gets swapped out for a breathable eVent waterproof lining, while the outsole is built with Vibram's DECEMBER — a heavy-duty rubber sole designed specifically for urban hiking, engineered to maintain traction and stability across both slick asphalt and light trail terrain. In other words, this shoe looks like something you'd wear sipping coffee at a campsite, but it's actually ready for a sudden downpour.

The two colorways lean into two different moods: beige leans earthy, perfect for everyday layering, while black keeps things more restrained and easy to blend into darker fits. Regardless of colorway, the shoe's shape itself hasn't been altered in any dramatic way — all the changes are things you'll only notice once you've got them on your feet.
Pricing and an exact release date have yet to be confirmed. Interested readers should keep an eye on SUICOKE's official channels for updates.
