No standalone exhibition walls, no partitioned white cube. So Koizumi Design's work is simply scattered throughout 025S SEONGSU HAUS, the Seongsu-dong flagship store of Seoul fragrance brand POINTTWOFIVE SECOND — marking designer So Koizumi's first solo exhibition in South Korea, held not in a typical gallery but in a fragrance space that's still fully operational.
The exhibition is simply titled "So Koizumi Collection," with works distributed across 025S Haus's 2F Art Space and other areas throughout the store, juxtaposed with the existing interior design. This arrangement is itself a deliberate choice: rather than treating the pieces as a collection to be appreciated in isolation, the organizers chose to let the objects, structures, fragrances, and architectural elements coexist and interact with one another. So Koizumi has long focused on the meaning carried by material and structure itself, and here his work isn't isolated under gallery lighting — it's placed within an everyday space that already has its own scent, traffic flow, and other objects.

POINTTWOFIVE SECOND is a brand built around personal scent experiences, memory, and emotion, with a scope that extends beyond perfume into sensory forms like tea and art. This collaboration effectively folds design objects into the brand's ongoing sensory experiments "beyond scent" — only this time, the protagonist is Koizumi's exploration of material and structure.
Exhibition photography by Teo Josserand captures the deliberate visual connection between the works and the interior building materials, rather than isolating the pieces from their surrounding environment.
The exhibition runs from July 22 to September 22, 2026, at 025S Haus 2F Art Space in Seoul, South Korea. For ticketing and visitor information, please check the brand's official account @025s.official or the designer's account @so_koizumi_design.
