The Adistar Jellyfish is a brand new silhouette from his ongoing collaboration with adidas, featuring an upper built from bubble-like protrusions — what should be the perfect canvas for bold color, he instead keeps confined to a palette of Core White and Off White, with only a touch of Clear Brown adding a hint of transparency.
That kind of restraint is actually harder to pull off than going loud. The bubbled upper already speaks a strong visual language on its own; layering on clashing colors would only dilute that "just pulled from the water" texture. Keeping it minimal lets the bubble structure's own ridges and shadows do the talking, while the Clear Brown reads like a bit of water seeping through the shoe — a fitting nod to the jellyfish's semi-transparent body.
