Let's get one thing straight: the Nike Air Max 1000 isn't a shoe built off traditional molds—it's a reinterpretation of the Air Max 1 manufactured by 3D printing outfit Zellerfeld. That means the entire shoe, including the structure of that midsole air unit, is printed as a single piece rather than molded and assembled separately.
The newly released Air Max 1000.2 marks the second version in this line. This time around, Nike and Zellerfeld focused on refining the outsole geometry and boosting print efficiency, all while keeping that same soft, springy underfoot feel intact. In other words, the upgrade here isn't about design language—it's about precision and efficiency in the manufacturing process itself.
The new colorway is called "Glacier Blue," featuring a predominantly black upper accented with touches of glacier blue, under style code JF3484-006.
The release will roll out in two phases: an EQL raffle on Zellerfeld's official website starting July 27, 2026, followed by a global release on SNKRS on July 30, priced at $180 USD.
