Jam City is Latham's longtime alias, and this time he's bringing 'My World,' set for release on September 23 via Mad Decent—his debut full-length on the label, and the follow-up to 2023's 'Jam City Presents EFM.' Leading the charge is the title track "My World," an R&B cut laced with unease featuring Aidan, Bawo, and Ox Eye on vocals. Latham describes the whole song as having a "queasy" texture—not the sweet, easy-to-love kind of R&B, but a version that's a little nauseating, a little off-balance.
In an Instagram post, he wrote: "Huge thanks to all the collaborators who turned this little thing into a full album—I think this might be the best work I've ever made." The same post mentions that a "club mix" of "My World" has also been released simultaneously. It's not on YouTube yet, but a 10-minute dub mix is available to stream.
